Following her selection Mehreen said:
“I am honoured and absolutely thrilled to have been selected to stand for Holborn and St Pancras at the next General Election. Holborn and St Pancras needs a hard-working, committed MP who will campaign to improve the lives of its residents. With a background in both the private and public sector, I intend to focus on the issues that really matter, like supporting local businesses, saving our transport links, beneficial development, tackling crime, focusing on the environment and making sure young people have the chance to achieve their aspirations. The campaign starts now – let’s stop Sir Keir from no policy and no plan and win Holborn and St Pancras!”
