With the Leadership race well underway Lord Barwell will lead a discussion evening on who should lead the Conservative Party.
Come and join us to discuss this momentous decision over a glass of wine at our campaign HQ, 1a Heath Hurst Rd, at 7 pm on 17 September.
Gavin has great experience in political campaigning, having served as Downing Street Chief of Staff to Theresa May and as Chief Operating Officer under David Cameron & Michael Howard
Gavin Barwell was Downing Street Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Theresa May. He was with her throughout the Brexit negotiations.
He worked at Conservative Party headquarters from 1993 and was (2003 to 2006) – the party’s Chief Operating Officer, where he worked closely with Michael Howard and David Cameron. He was MP for Croydon Central (2010-2017) during which he served as Minister of State for Housing and Planning.
Before being asked to cast your vote, come and discuss this with each other, and a man who has been an MP and worked with the people who have led our party.
The evening will be chaired and has been kindly sponsored by Ester Baroudy, chair of our Policy Forum.
