Champagne Reception with Bob Seely MP and a senior Member of the Ukrainian Diplomatic Delegation to the UK.
Bob Seely, MP for the Isle of White is our guest speaker, along with a senior Member of the Ukrainian Diplomatic Delegation. Bob is a former journalist and soldier. From 1990 to 1995, he worked as a foreign correspondent in the USSR/post-Soviet states. He served as both an NCO and officer in the UK Armed Forces. As a sergeant in the British Army, he was awarded a Joint Commanders Commendation in 2009 for his tour in Iraq. He then served on the Afghanistan, Libya and ISIS campaigns.
He is now a member of the Commons Foreign Affairs Committee and is very outspoken in the support of the Ukraine.
A senior Member of the Ukrainian Diplomatic Delegation to the UK will also be with us to update us on the situation in the Ukraine.
