Cllr’s Kirsty Roberts and Chris Knight gained a victory for residents who, have for years, been subjected to nuisance caused by Tinseltown, the milkshake bar on Heath Street. The review was heard by a panel of Councillors at Camden Town Hall on 18th July. In attendance were some of the residents who have been particularly affected. The panel heard evidence by residents who have been attacked, verbally abused and subjected to complete disrespect night after night by Tinseltown customers.
The end result was a decision by the panel to reduce the hours for licensable activities as well as adding a host of conditions to the license; below is a list of the key conditions:
Sunday to Thursday – Licensable activities to cease at 12am
Friday to Saturday – Licensable activities to cease at 1am
Friday and Saturday – 1 SIA door supervisor to be in post
Sunday to Saturday – Take away to cease on all licensable activities from 11pm
The full list of conditions attached to the license will be available shortly.
