As the weather draws in and the nights are dark from early in the evening, it is even more important for safety and ease of travel around Hampstead that our street lighting is fully functioning.
With the above in mind, we were grateful to those residents that contacted us recently to let us know the first street light on Frognal Way (entering from Church Row) was not working. We raised the issue with the Council and checked to ensure that Camden acted immediately to fix the light. We are also working with Camden to ensure that street lights are cleaned regularly.
We wanted to bring this to your attention so you know that such matters can and should be fixed without delay. And that we stand ready to offer support in making sure that this happens if you notice a problem in the future.
More generally, please do not hesitate to contact us with any concerns about the local area. We are constantly working with residents on a range of matters, and we would love to hear from you. You can get in touch by emailing us at [email protected] or by calling 0207 794 5679, where you can also leave a message.
If you would like to be kept up to date about our campaigns you can also register with us by sending your details to [email protected].
With best wishes for a Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and a great New Year,
All the best,
Cllr Siobhan Baillie, Cllr Gio Spinella, Henry Newman & Andrew Parkinson
