Unemployment in Hampstead & Kilburn has fallen to the lowest since records began over 30 years ago, with 1,523 fewer of our neighbours having to rely on out-of-work benefits than in 2010. The number of people out of work in our community has now halved since Labour left office.
This has been replicated up and down the United Kingdom. More people are in work than ever before, with 1,000 new jobs created each day since 2010: with 80% of them being full-time. Prices are rising at their slowest rate ever, and wages are expected to rise 4% points faster than prices this year. We had the fastest-growing major developed economy in 2014 and it's expected to grow even faster in 2015. We've reined in Labour's uncontrolled spending and cut Britain's deficit in half. And people are keeping more of their hard-earned money, thanks to big rise in the personal allowance.
Yet all this is at risk if Ed Miliband and Ed Balls get into Downing Street in May - supported by Tulip Siddiq. Please help keep our country and our community on the right track - drop us a message and volunteer to help elect Simon Marcus and re-elect David Cameron on May 7th.
