What is Khan and TFL hiding about fines on the Finchley Road?
Transport for London refuse to say how many tickets have been issued on the Finchley Rd 20 mph limit and how much revenue taken in by fines.
They have failed to reply to a formal question asked by Andrew Boff, Chairman of the London Authority.
While canvassing in the Frognal area of Hampstead many people told us they had been fined doing mid twenties on the Finchley Road, or made to do a driver re-education course. Many noted that the description of the Finchley Road was the same at a 40mph limit road. They felt mugged by the Mayor of their home city. Others mentioned the rat running in roads as drivers avoid the Finchley Road to avoid Khans' Cameras.
Finchley Road 20mph - have you had your fine?
■ TFL is out of control. Mayor Khan has empowered it to impose unwanted traffic schemes on the Finchley Road and across London.
■ In 2020 TFL planned to impose single lane traffic on the northbound Finchley Road. Camden Conservatives foiled this by a huge write-in campaign and so TFL has learnt that open consultations could stop their plans.
■ So to sneak in the 20mph limit, TFL placed an advert in the CNJ on 1st Dec 2022 with a deadline of 21st Dec 2022, to ensure no comments over the Christmas season.
TFL & Khan continue to deceive and dissemble.
