The works at 6 Streatly Place are underway. Camden's officer failed again to take account of local residents nor Cllr Stephen Stark's a chartered Civil Engineer  concerns.  Cllr Stark opposed the scheme when it first came to the planning committee.  Not only is it an overdevelopment of the site but Cllr Stark highlighted the construction difficulties which were exacerbated due to the overdevelopment.  The developer is suppose to meet the local community and myself to deal with problems.  We met on a number of important issues were raised but these still need to be dealt with.

Please let Stephen know how you are being affected by the works and he will raise this with Camden Council enforcement and with the developer.

Back Lane

Motorbikes and other vehicles are riding down Back Lane the wrong way, from Heath Street.  This is very dangerous for pedestrians many of whom are children.  The police have added additional patrols to try to catch the individuals but that is not enough. The police cannot be there 24/7. Cllr Stephen Stark asked Camden Council to put up a CCTV camera at the top of the Road. This is supported by the police. Camden Council are looking at whether this is viable and the cost. Stephen is continuing to press this. Fingers crossed.
