URGENT HAMPSTEAD PUBLIC MEETING
Changes to Camden’s waste collections: What’s happening and what we can do.
From 1st April, Camden is cutting most Hampstead residents’ bin collections to once a fortnight. Your local Hampstead councillors are opposed to this change.
To help answer your questions about what’s happening and how the impact on Hampstead can be minimised, your councillors are holding a public meeting on 6th March with senior officers from Camden’s waste team.
•What is changing and why?
•Why are some areas retaining weekly collections and others being cut? What should residents do if fortnightly collections do not work for their street?
•What can we do to increase recycling? What help can Camden provide?
•How can you report a problem with the service?
We’ll also be discussing the related issue of fly-tipping:
•Where is fly-tipping happening in Hampstead? Officers will be able to take note of this and tackle problem areas.
•What penalties are there for fly-tipping?
•How can residents report issues to Camden, and what can Camden do to resolve them?
