Protecting local shops in College Rd, Kensal Rise
Cllr Joel Davidson spoke at the planning committee to help save the C+D shop on College Rd from being turned into flats. Lobbied by many from across Kensal Rise Joel was proud to stand up for residents who value the thriving local shopping parade.
Kensal Rise residents do not want our community to be further damaged, having already suffered the blow of Brent Council closing Kensal Rise Library. Your Brondesbury Councillors were delighted that the planning committee rejected this development. We will continue to stand up for our local businesses and shops.
College Road has blossomed over the last few years. It is great to see parades like this thriving. They are supported by out community – they deserve the support of Brent Council.
