Peter Hornsby selected as Conservative Candidate for Kilburn - by-election 5th September
I was born and brought up in the borough of Camden, and after working in various roles in education for several years alongside volunteering at my local Oxfam, I decided to forge a career in public service in 2022.
Since then, I have assisted scores of people and their families through undertaking extensive casework for them, ranging from ensuring that they receive all the benefits to which they are entitled, to holding unscrupulous operators of sewage and waste disposal companies to task.
My main priorities are to make Kilburn a clean and safe place for people to live by holding Camden Council to account and championing better public services.
For far too long various areas have been taken for granted- the people of Kilburn simply cannot wait any longer including Council tenants who have seen their properties filled with mould and damp with no remedy in sight.
I will campaign constructively for more police patrols, the fixing of CCTV and street lighting, and against any potential Council Tax rises, whilst building bridges across our communities.
I look forward to engaging with everyone and feel free to contact me if there is anything you would like to discuss: [email protected]
