Hampstead councillor Oliver Cooper and Hampstead activist Hamish Hunter spent time this weekend volunteering with Camden Air Action, a local group which works to raise awareness of air pollution in our borough.
Oliver and Hamish helped out with replacing air quality monitoring tubes at New End Primary School and the Academy School on Rosslyn Hill. These tubes record important data on air pollution which will help give an accurate picture of air quality in Hampstead. All of Hampstead needs clean air, but it’s especially important for children who attend our local schools.
