Haverstock Hill Cycle Lane - Camden listen to the minority
So, under the category "what a surprise" Camden have decided after a year's consultation, that they will make this unpopular* scheme permanent. The Commonplace Survey is available for all to see on their website and illustrates a clear message. Leaving out respondents who must be Lib Dems and so were not able to decide on the subject, those for the scheme numbered 298 while those against a mere 465. Clearly Camden only listen to the minority.
Oh and when you look closely at the responses it is also evident that many in favour of the scheme either do not live in the area or declined to state that they did.
What a fix. Yet again the Labour led Camden administration show their brilliance at ignoring residents and glibly heading on with exactly what they want to do anyway. Please, for the sake of all of us, vote for a council that cares at the next election.
