Speaker led Policy Forum on Afghanistan - ‘some personal reflections on working on Afghanistan and the current situation’
Oliver Milne will be joining us to share his experience and current views on the situation in Afghanistan. The evening will be moderated by Aarti Joshi, Chair of our Political Discussion Group
Oliver spent 13 years in the Diplomatic Service, beginning on the Afghan desk at the Foreign Office and then later had postings in Cairo, Tripoli, Amman and Istanbul. In 2007 he spent 2 months in Kabul dealing with media relations . An Arabic speaker he now works for M&C Saatchi covering their Arab clients . He spent his early career working for Brian Coleman at City Hall .
