This Thursday’s CPF, we will be discussing “What should capitalism look like when translated into policy with regards the cost of living?”.
Sai, our North London CPF Leader, has given strict instructions that we must produce “at least 5 crisp points which the government could consider acting upon”. These are to be sent in for the end of the month.
My contribution to this week’s discussion will be various charts, including how the cost of living is reflected in the consumer price index.
Notes from our 12 January session are attached here. We can move on to discuss the NHS and healthcare reform in following sessions. The short CCHQ brief is here
We also have a request from GLA member Nick Rogers to speak to us on Transport and I will be arranging a meeting in February.
Finally, please note “CPF members should register their details with us online so they are kept fully in the loop concerning all national CPF activities and events, can get involved in our New Ideas Forum and share their ideas, access our webinars and join our National Discussion Groups to focus on specific areas of national importance”.
